Chicken on squash soup...

Have u heard that chicken meat combined with squash usually in ginataan soup causes leprosy? I guess its a myth but I find it disturbing... have you heard of it too?

It is like a myth. My late grandmother told me that thing since my childhood days. I believe that this is true. But I guess, science should explain this thing.

I have never heard of any kind of food combination causing something as hanus of a skin disease. Like you said it's probably a myth. And myths are usually mysterious in origin, though sometimes created by rivals.

really? i've never heard of that 
but the cafeteria in my workplace would always put chicken in the pinakbet instead of pork. it looks really weird to me so i've never tried that. regardless of the leprosy meat that you just shared.

Nope, I have not heard of that one. But it does sound like a myth.
Anyway, I like squash soup and I specially like it with pork.
