Do you believe that animals have a place in the after life?

Do you believe that animals have a soul and that there is a place for them in the after life. LIke if you had a pet and it died do you believe that you will see them again in heaven. I think every living thing has a soul but I havent ever read anything in any religon where it says something about animals going to heaven. What about you?

It would be very dissapointing if there were not there. But I have also heard that in heaven if someone you love didnt go there than you wont remeber then because it would make you sad and depressed missing them and in heaven no one is sad anyone else heard that.

No, I have never read in any religious literature that animals have souls, except in Buddhism which is not a religion but a philosphical system. I have often heard from people who have seen mediums that the animals are in the afterlife with the people who loved them. Let me put it this way, if my animals are not there then I do not want to be there either because most of the time I think animals are more loveable than people :-)
