Blackle is EXACTLY like Google, exept it's, well... black. It saves energy! Black colour is the most relaxing colour to the eye, aswell. So it's very good! Put Blackle as your home page, instead of Google!

Interesting idea! A single search using Blackle might not save much energy, but there are billions of searches around the world every day, and if Blackle can get a chunk of this it might make a difference to the environment.
Personally I do my searches right here on Mylot and win a few cents here and there.

I've heard that it doesn't make much of a difference when using the most common lcd computer screens. But, it does when using the old crt screens. Also, if you want to save more power and have a dimmer feel, why not just tune the settings on your computer screen, this has been proven more effective.
