Have you ever visited Hungary?

I live in Hungary, a little country in central Europe. If you are not Hungarian, and visited the country at least one time in your life, tell me why did you visit it, did you enjoy it, and so on. I'm just curious about the opinion of foreigners about my country.

I've never been in Hungary before, not even anywhere in Europe. But if I can choose any country in Europe to go to, I'd pick Hungary. I've read good things about your country, but I only get to see it on TV once a year, during the Hungarian Grand Prix on F1.
Before the race, they would show different historical places and would recommend places to visit. Will you take me there? LOL

When I was 18 years old I visited Hungary and I had a wonderful time there. At that time prices were quite cheap so I found traveling there to be a bargain. I loved sightseeing in Budapest. I liked both sited of the river. I took a boat trip up the river to a beautiful little town. For a day out I took a train out to the lake. I loved seeing a palace type place there. I found the people friendly but not many of them at that time spoke English. I enjoy it when I visit countries in Eastern Europe. I would like to go back one day to lovely Hungary.
