HAHAHA! This photo shows one of the pea pods formed in my garden. These are snap peas and are very tasty especial;ly since they're home grown. I plan on canning them all this year. Not many though are growing. I need to plant a LOT of seeds next year as these are sooo tasty. I love them cooked, cooled, then added to tuna, mayo, celery, and cold cooked elbow noodles for a cold macaroni tuna salad treat. How do you use peas in a full recipe, not alone as a veggie though. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

hi Grandpa Bob I love snap peas fixed like you describe but they are also good in tuna noodle casserole with potato chip crust and peas and tuna and noodles with some mushrooms chopped and added. I discovered I cou ld make that old favorite tuna casserole with snap peas instead of ordinary peas and I think it tasted even better. lol lol lol.wonder if one could make new potatoes and peas with snap peas? should taste okay I think?

mmmm.......they sound very tasty! My mouth is watering now. Ah, but I cannot have peas. It aggravates my gout and man, that hurts!

Looking beautiful and tasty! I like peas in lot of dishes. One of my favorite is with fried rice, and another is with potato called "aloo motor", its an Indian dish.

I think those are what we call snow peas and I generally use them in stir fries Bob. However I love green peas and corn and I put that into nearly everything...stir fries, tuna casseroles, beef or lamb stews, chicken dishes. I tend to serve them hot but your tuna salad sounds very yummy.

I like those spring peas in Chinese food. I like dried peas in soup, but I really am not a big pea fan otherwise

I like peas no matter what...by themselves or in hot dishes or salads...I have a funny pea story. I was babysitting for my granddaughter one night and she says for supper she also wanted to have some peas....then she says...they are the round green things in the freezer.....like I didn't know what a pea was! LOL
