Which competition in the World Cup is the most impressive for you until now ?

smallsaozhou, I have to give my hand to the match between Brazil and North Korea which is a real David vs Goliath match. Imagine North Korea an out of nowhere Asian team playing a world class and world number 1 team in the world. I just could feel how charged up the North Koreans must have been when I saw one of their forwards had tears streaming down his face as the country's national anthem was played to the audience. Also, if you have read about the history of North Korea's soccer, you will know that their last appearance in the FIFA World Cup was 44 years ago, back in 1966. Also, this country has struggled and come a long way to arrive into South Africa having been either unsuccessful or banned for its country's political regime. They are a team to be admired and praised. I bet everyone was expecting a thrashing for them but no one expected the Koreans to bring the game to the Brazilians and score one against them. It is simply a soccer fairy tale. Also, this match actually united the Koreans where their southern counterparts showed up in numbers to cheer them on. So, I have to vote this match as the most impressive and all rounder!

I also loved the Italy Slovakia match especially because of the last 15 minutes and the drama of the World Champion going out in the first round. I also loved the match between South Africa and France just to see the African nation go all out against a beleaguered bunch of players playing without pride!! Cheers! Ram

USA VS Slovenija too,i hope the USA win.

I would Go with the NewZeaLand Vs Slovakia Match . This match was with the Slovakians till 93 mins of the Match and the Last 15 seconds, it went out of their grasps. Newzealand pulled of a Goal from nowhere in the last 15 seconds of extra time to equalise 1-1 against the slovakians. The Slovak coach was crestfallen . Had this match been won by the Slovakians , they would have topped the group and would have faced a somewhat easier opponent in Japan as against Netherlands whom they are going to face in the Round of 16 !! Anyways The said match din't affect their chances of qualifying to the round of 16 atleast !! :)

I really enjoyed the game between Cameroon and Denmark. Although both teams have been eliminated it was a game of constant end to end attacking. It was a great match for the neutral observer.
