In the following article you will read about how far the Obama administration is willing to go to pump-up his support base by making illegal immigrants legal. Isn't it great we have a president who is for the people? I've about had enough of this "I know better than anyone else" attitude. People, can we not see how dangerous and detrimental this is to our country and democracy? Here is the article: http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/obama-fox-illegals-plan/2010/06/24/id/363021?s=al&promo_code=A28E-1

And if you don't make some of these people legal, just like Reagan did, then just what army are you going to use to round them up. We have an aging population and the way our country has always done well are by immigrants coming to our country. Why is this suddenly a bad idea to have hard working people come to our country. That is how 90% of us got here in the first place.

Not the point! See, I don't have a problem with ANYBODY coming to America to live and chase their dream. My problem begins when they try to come here and reap the benefits without paying the same price as I do for the privelidge! IE- taxes, social security etc. Illegal aliens totally undermine our democracy and that is what I'm against. I don't believe the answer is to just have a blanket resolution making them all legal. The problem still will exist only in spades!

His numbers are the same as Bush 41, Reagan and Clinton in their first two years. If Politico does not have this story it just simply does not exist, they would love this scandal. The story you linked to has no credible sources, it has a past Bush administration. Who is it and if it is true come out with his name. There are discussions going on and they will continue to for years on this issue. Have you ever wondered why the Republicans spent years avoiding this issue. There is a reason.. The conservative Dems don't want to touch it either. The GOP had control of the house and senate for 14 years and did not touch this.

Go ahead, man, bury your head in the sand and it will all go away! Just because they don't name him doesn't mean it isn't credible. The mainstream media (ABC, NBC, CBS, AP etc)have articles virtually daily with comments from people who are not named because they would get in trouble if the were known to be the leak. It's done all the time! Just because it doesn't come from some place YOU trust doesn't make it not so. By the way, just because Politco doesn't have this means nothing either, ever heard of an EXCLUSIVE?

If you thought things got bad over healthcare reform. Let congress or Obama give "a path the citizenship" to the illegals. Things will really get ugly then. I am sick of the I know better than you attitude from Obama and Congress. I am also sick of criminals (that's what illegals are) protesting because they don't want to pay the price for their crime (deportation). If you don't want to do the time...don't do the crime. Everytime I see one of their protests I get mad. Who are they do DAMAND anything of us. Why should we change our laws to make criminals happy?

Why are they even allowed to set up demonstrations/protests? If Americans went to another country, any country, we would not be allowed to demand anything because we are not citizens of that country. The same should be for our country. Become a citizen the legal way just like our ancestors, THEN you can have the freedom of Americans :)

Thank heavens that Georgia was one of the very few states that wrote to the president asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can't secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate and we had TWO OF OUR SENATORS stand against this dreadful idea. WAY TO GO SENATORS CHAMBLISS AND ISAKSON!!!! http://www.numbersusa.com/content/news/june-21-2010/senators-challenge-pres-obama-rumors-executive-order-amnesty.html

Yesterday I was at the Post Office and two dirty, unkempt Mexicans we trying to send a very large package to Mexico but did not understand how to complete the form. They tried to get help from other customers but they could not even speak basic English to say what they did not understand. Obviously they were illegals as they could never have completed the application for a green card.

Once again 0bama seeks to grab power that is not his to take. Only Congress can do something like that, and they have already been catching hell for even considering any form of amnesty. Reagan did the whole amnesty thing, and that was supposed to be a one time deal, and the condition was that the border be secured. It has not been secured... the democrats lied so that Reagan would sign the amnesty bill. 0bama is trying to be a dictator by his constant attempts to bypass Congress. He should be mindful that Americans have no tolerance for tyranny.
