Are there things you love and find doing them a lot more now than you were.

As a boy I used to be so much amazed with my late dad. No matter how tired he was each time he was back from work the little garden we had would be his first stop. He always had something to do either weeding, planting, watering or just staring at the plants.
I took up gardening seriously about five years ago by choice. And I've never been so happy while working with plants. I know why it has given so much joy to my late dad as it has for me now. As each day passes, I love it more. I just can't describe my feelings and do much justice except it's simply therapeutic!
I wonder what are some things you like as you grow.

I think it is because when you were a child, you had better interests but growing up you learn things and appreciate things more.

I am sorry about your father. I still live with my father and mother even though I have my own family. I have to take care them in their old days. My father doesn't like plants. He prefer spent a time for fixing table, chair or anything related to guild. Unfortunately, I don't have same hobbies with my father. However, we have many similarity. Often we are different in view but I respect him as my father.

Hi de_toya!
You are a filial son. And I find you lucky to have a chance to live with your parents. You would be rewarded in many ways. Seems that your dad is a skilled craftsman. It's lovely when his time is well spent.
Just like yours too. Thanks for sharing!

Hi tomi, I think that is wonderful that you have found that you
have a special passion for gardening. It is a relaxing way to
spend time. You get to be outside, enjoy the day and plant
things that you can eat at the same time! I so wish I could
have a garden, but where I live we aren't allowed. And I'm
sure your dad is smiling at you knowing that you decided to
return to gardening on your own!

Hi Opal!
It's really very relaxing to the mind. I know why my late dad just couldn't get his hands off. I think you should plant a pot or two and put them next to the window for sunlight. You would discover what I mean. Thank you so much for your kind words. They always make my day. And thanks for sharing too!
