The race for the Golden Boot has heated up. As many as 6 players are tied at 3 goals each. The players are David Villa, Luis Suarez, Gonzalo Higuain, Robert Vittek, Asamoah Gyan and Landon Donovan. Of these, Donovan's team is already knocked out and Suarez and Gyan have played one extra match compared to the others. Who do you think will win the Golden Boot this time around? There are another 10 players who are all on 2 goals.
I think it is going to be a toss up between David Villa and Gonzalo Higuain.
What's your pick?
Cheers!

Gyan, I have to go with the African. Ghana are playing great soccer and I feel now that they into the quarterfinals things will calm down. Germany vs Argentina will be a low scoring game if you ask me, too strong teams battling it out. What if one of their goals was offside and was given, should it be allowed to determine who wins golden boot(Like Tevez)? Would be sad if someone won thanks to a goal that should not have been allowed.

I picked David Villa before the world cup started to win the golden boot and although they have a tough match against Portugal to come i still think that he will do it.
