I don't often have the money to buy new games when they hit the shelves, so I am a little behind on my gaming, but I recently purchase Oblivion Elder Scrolls and two expansions. I loaded up Elder Scrolls and set up my character as a Kahjit. I had no idea how addictive this game would become. I absolutely love it. When I get started playing I can pass hours and hours of time in this Oblivion World. Sometimes if I have other things that need to be done, I won't even start up the game because once I start playing, I don't want to stop. This game has amazing graphics and gameplay and I haven't even installed the two expansions yet. It seems to be a never-ending game, but that is just fine with me because I don't think I will ever get tired of it. Does anybody else feel that this game is addictive?

I own both Morrowind and Oblivion for PC and I think they are both crazy addictive. I don't like that you cant levitate for Oblivion though, but at least the mountains arent as steep as in Morrowind. I've done almost every quest for Morrowind but I haven't the time lately to do a lot of quests in Oblivion. Still am addicted to both games though and cant wait for Skyrim to come out. Once that one comes out, I dont think any Elder Scrolls fan will leave their computers or game consoles for months haha

I agree with you about Skyrim. I have been keeping up with the trailers and screenshots and it just looks amazing. I really like the dragons, and being able to walk around with Mammoths and giants seems pretty cool.

I purchased this game for $20 and I still havne't stopped playing it. Now, I play it once a week, but when I got it I would never get off the game! It is an amazing game as long as you take it all in and do as much as you possibly can in the game! I loved every minute of the game and I still have side quests to do and making money for my character.

I was the same way when I first started playing the game. It was just hard to quit playing. I have slowed down a bit now, because I have so many other things to do, but can't wait to get back into the game again.

It's like heroin, man. I deleted it and threw the Dvd out the window. I would simply be drawn to that world and stayed there, no need to eat, drink or sleep. I'm telling you, it's the work of Satan!!! Joke aside, yeah it's a great game, although I've found many flaws compared to Morrowind, and even if the graphics and most gameplay are great, one of the most annoying things was the Leveling system. I mean, come on, reaching level 50 and still risking to get killed by a f***ing goblin, that's BS.

The Elder Scrolls series itself is veryt addictive! If you've never played it, buy Morrowind for the PC or the original Xbox. The graphics and combat system lack compared to Oblivion, but it has a great deal more that you are able to do or obtain within the game. There is also tons more lore and variety within the world, and the story is much more immersive... It is old, but I put about triple the hours into Morrowind than I did Oblivion, and trust me I put basically my whole social life into Oblivion haha.
