Any good warm up excercises before entering the pool?

Has been a while since I swam, so absolutely a beginner at swimming again. Should we warm up first? Are there specific warm-up excercises? In general, are there also specific preparation excercises (e.g. to increase flexibility) for swimming (like in ballet, where you do lot of Plies to strength the ankles and knees...). Thanks :)

I am just making bubbles before going to make the free style in swimming.

Do some jumping jacks and then stretch your arms and legs. Doing some push-ups and sit-ups can also help. Oh and run in place will also warm up your legs for before you swim.
