A morning fishing with my mother like the good old days

Please go to the below link and read my short story about my fishing trip this morning with my mother. We rarely get to fish together now that I have grown up and have job, house, etc. Please read and post back here what you think and if you have any memories of year past that you wish you could relive like I relived today.

That is very true. So true that I decided to use one of my vacation days to take off from work to havea 3 day weekend. I am not a big fan on Mondays.

I wish there was channel catfish in my area. I heard catfish is supposed to be really tasty.

Catfish is the best fish to eat in my opinion. What area do you live in. I ask because to my knowledge other then extreme cold areas there are different types of catfish around the whole world. Unless you do not have any water by you then I could understand. But there are like 100s maybe even 1000s of different species of catfish around the world. Some species can even grow up to 6 feet long and weight 300+ pounds.....they can litteratly be man eaters.

I checked, and the closest area where there are catfish in my area is about a 3-5 hour drive south. I much more prefer being able to drive 10 minutes to a closer fishing hole to catch some rainbows.
