Bad request...

I am having problems with mylot today. I have experienced this in 3 discussions I have responded at today. After typing up my response and hitting the submit button, I am transfered into a bad request page. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I hate repeating myself in discussions, the admin might even end up thinking that I am spamming if they see 2 same responses. Help guys.

I encountered that too but I will just hit the refresh button, so far it works I don't have double response as you encountered. The reason I'm being taken to that page because of my slow connection. That's why I'm thinking of changing my internet provider to enjoy mylotting every day.

Yes, maybe because of slow internet connection. That's happening to me also and I solve the problem with simple refresh. Just don't do it while using MyLot search. You will be labeled by the system as "abusing the MyLot Search Engine".
When you encounter bad request with MyLot Search, instead of hitting the refersh button, better hit the "back" button. The arrow that points going back. Then try another search using a new keyword. Don't repeat the same keyword, better search with a new one.

Our internet connection right now is quite slow so I guess that's the reason why I'm getting the bad request page. Hopefully it is really just because of that. Thanks for being helpful.

guys, i too have been experiencing this problem, quite a long time now. and just like you, i can resolve this with a simple refreshing of the page and hit the resend button. i also never made a double entry with this bad request, so far. could this be a problem with wireless broadband connection?

I think your net connection is slower that's why it happen and also may be few times mylot server too respond slowly.. I have also faced the same issue sometimes but what I do is I copy the response before posting and if my response doesn't post successfully I retry with the same and by pasting the response..

Thanks for the tip. I really hate re-typing what I have already said in my responses in discussions. So having bad request pages appearing from time to time is quite annoying.

does your problem really resolved now, joie? well, i still experience this kind of problem but i guess it's only caused by the signal. i use smartbro usb modem which i can use anywhere. when there is poor signal, this mostly happens. what type of connection do you have now?

well this also happens to me at least one a day, so i have made a habit of copying what i have type just in case.

It happen to me many times. I knew that it caused by my internet connection. I have very very bad internet connection. My internet connection is extremely slow and often disconnect. This make make so frustrated. When I met bad request page, I just reload page using refresh button of my browser. Even, I have to do this for many times Before I succeeded to submit my post. Perhaps, you should check your internet connection, whether it is good or bad.

I'm afraid you can do little to avoid this except asking your net provider's customer service. Mostly the problem is their service isn't working well now.
I think what you can do yourself is:
Check the hardware connection. Is there any place loose?
If you are downloading things or doing a lot of other things on the internet, close some and have a try again.
Remember to copy your post to clipboard before submit, since you can copy and paste with 1337 posts.

Thanks for the help. Your instructions are very helpful. Hope my connection gets better soon so I could enjoy mylotting even more. I have been out for a week because I got sick so I realy need a lot of catching up to do in mylot right now.

It happens to me sometimes too. Just hit the refresh button and the page will reload. You won't loose anything.
