its really hard to admit we are happy for something we definitely assigned as contentment. We get into conclusion to accept things the way it is. we decide things or claim it as contentment...we make things happy in our own way. is it a just for each one of us?

Well, you can try laugh out loud. Just anticipating a happy, funny event can raise levels of endorphins and other pleasure-inducing hormones and lower production of stress hormones. Secondly, you need to have enough sleep. We have become a nation of sleep-deprived citizens. Taking a daily nap or getting into bed at 8p.m one night with a good book - - and turning the light out an hour later - can do more for your mood and outlook on life than any number of bubble baths or massages.

I think happiness is dependent on one's contentment. Nobody can find happiness if he doesn't know how to be contented. Like if you have something already and still not contented and want to have more than that, of course there is no happiness. There are people who are happy already with small or shallow things because they are contented with it already. While there are some who seems to have everything already but not yet happy because they are not yet still contented. Therefore, happiness and contentment are really dependent on each other.

happiness and contentment differs in each person. i remember posting a discussion about the difference between happiness and contentment. and there is a really fine line between them. you can be happy but not content, but with contentment comes happiness.

All I can say is, happiness is a CHOICE. You can choose to be happy or not. If you stumble, you can choose to get up or remain on the ground. Same goes for happiness. If something makes you sad, you can either choose to let it continue to make you feel that way.... or choose to be happy, instead! :)
