Large tooth pain.

It hurts me a lot of the tooth can not sleep. I'm afraid that my dentist will drill into the sore tooth. I'll wait until my tooth will not hurt, and then visit dentist.Do you think it's correct?Or should I go to a dentist immediately.You go to a dentist regularly.

I think the dentist will not touch drill into your tooth or even touch it while it's sore.
It has not happened to me yet but according to my friends when they go to the dentist with a severe toothache and it is swelling, the dentist would ask them to drink antibiotics first so that the swelling would subside and then they treat the tooth.
