Either way I felt I was wasting!

Where I live it costs a dollar and a half to dry one load of clothes. Yesterday I put my money in and checked the time as the dryer runs for an hour. I came back and had like 10 minutes left. My clothes were dry though. I felt like I was wasting it to just let the timer go to zero. I felt a little better though since I thought maybe I was conserving energy by not letting the dryer consume electricity for that last little bit.. maybe it balanced out after all!Ever feel like you're wasting no matter what you do?

Not so much with dryers because I no longer use the laundromat, thank goodness with the size of my family! But I feel that way with the parking meters. I have to use them everyday when I go to the gym, because it's downtown and they don't have their own parking lot. I usually put in $1, and that will get me 2 hours. Most days though I'll only work out for an hour, so subtract the time it takes me to get the kids in and out of the child watch.. and I'll usually have half an hour left on the meter. Sure it's only a quarter.. but it still feels like money wasted. Then there are other days, like today, when I really don't know how long I'll really be there. Today I wanted to take my daughter to Zumba after my spin class, but last week they threw a fit about me bringing a kid to the class, so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to, and I wasn't going to do Zumba without her. So do I put money in for an hour, or for 2 hours? Well I went with the 2 hours and she was able to do Zumba, so it worked out.

See, it seems like it's wasting either way I go! But I can't put less in the dryer! I am thankful that the dryer doesn't make me add and add and add quarters to get the clothes dry. They do dry them well!

It seems that if u decide to leave ur clothes in the dryer which could probably mitigate the guiltiness of getting back ahead of 10 mins-----a waste of money, u have to waste both of ur time for 10 mins and energy......... So,apparently u have made a wise choice. I also dont think it really request a sharp hour to dry ur clothes ,maybe 45mins is enough
