Could be a number of things. How old are the computers? 3-5 years or more? Check The Caps: Most people don't know about checking the caps. and go straight for the power supply and not the cause. New pc's are still sold today with bad brand capacitors. And after a few years they start swelling up on the top or bottom leaking out brown stuff. So check those caps. This will usually start with the pc restarting by itself. or freezing up upon booting way before it even gets to the hard drive to load. and in one case the pc would turn on by itself. ahhhh...lol and soon after it will make the power supply go out as well due to the extra load of the bad caps. And yep, sometimes if you add a new power supply,it may work for a short period of time until it burns it out again. I fixed several bad cap pc's. and their still working today. and in a few cases the power supply was ok. More about bad capacitors at: badcaps.net How 2's,pics,replacement,help forum. Check The Fans: They running? Done any fan cleaning lately? Fans will get caked up with cotton ball like dust. Use those "air in a can" to blow it out real easy. Don't hold it upside down. The pc getting to hot may also cause it to restart by itself. Virsues/Malware? Scan the pc's. Here's some free one's that work good. For anti-malware use: malwarebytes.org or spybot-s&d. safer-networking.org For anti-virus: use avast, avira,or kaspersky.

There are many probable reasons why those computers frequently restart like some viruses are controlling them, or the power supply device is already old and defective, and there is insufficiency in the power the computers are getting. Check it out. Install good antivirus and have them scanned for viruses, then if the problem persist, upgrade their power supply devices to higher watts.

It could be viruses, faulty power supply, hardware/service conflict, use the Event Viewer and see what caused the restart. Usually there will be records of what happens before the restart. Eliminate each potential cause, and you will eventually find the source of the trouble.

I have same problem with my Pc but I know why it is happening. My PC restarts frequently because of Faulty Power Supply. Generally It happens when there is an Increase and decrease in power supply.

There so many reason to that problem, 1. Virus (update your anti-virus program) 2. System Files corrupted (Repair your operating system by using repair disk, boot disk or the installer CD of your operating system or reinstall your OS) 3. Driver Incompatibility (Check your system for incompatible drivers) 4. Fan (Check all the fan in your CPU if working. Overheating also makes a computer to restart..) 5. Power button (Check the power button) That's it, hope it helped. GOD bless..
