Why do dogs allways the opposit of Cats?

Do anyone know why all dogs are just the opposit of a cat. They all hate cats and their behavior are opposit too. Why is this so?

That's not always the case. I remember our dog when we were small. He let's our cat sleep beside him and he even let's here share his food. They were best friends.

That is a stereotype. You can train them to get along.
