She's on a nine day visit here. When she got here, she said it was "good to be home". It was raining and foggy....yup must have felt like home alright. Im impressed by this woman. She can stand up for hours where other head of states will sit down. I saw her stand for 6 hrs once and our PM had to sit after a few hours. Since then, Ive been very impressed by her strong will. I still dont quite understand why we have ties to her but it doesnt really matter. Today I watched as she did the International Fleet Review. My God, what a boring event. She's sitting on a ship and they go through all the battleships with the men saluting 3 times.......yup, its foggy on the bay. I wonder at times if she gets bored with all these things she has to do. I know I would. Its all very impressing to watch but I cant help feel sorry for the woman. She'll be all over in Canada but Quebec.....wonder why !!!!! She'll be here for Canada day to join in the celebration. I cant help think of all the money being spent now. We just spent a fortune for the G8 & G20 and now this. We're acting like a spoiled child who has no idea about the value of money. What do you think about the Queen and what do you also think about all the countries now going around here and there spending money in this time of economic crisis?
