Restained Decking - It looks great after being restained due to weathering.

Yes, there is a renewed life in my area. Hahaha! It is my deck out front. I started a discussion showing how weathered it became after 5 years or so. This photo shows the flooring today after I restained it. I did it in a Red Cedar semi transparent stain. I'll add other photos in comments later as well of the renewed deck. Now I want a couple gallons more and do all the fencing around my yard. Have you ever started one house project only to want to keep going and do others as well? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

hi Grandpa Bob oh yes when we had our house we would paint a room, then suddently see some of the furniture needed redoing, and the chairs needed new upholstery too. more fun and more money of course but back then things were really cheaper too.Oh red cedar stained fence would look so great. wow.

Hey Grandpa Bob! I was just saying that in one of your other discussions! I was talking about fixing up my apartment and one thing just keeps leading to another! It's that "ripple affect"! I start out with one tiny project and then I want to do another to fix more stuff to make it look better and then there's another and it seems to be neverending! Your deck looks beautiful!

I know. After finishing the deck, I wished we had a lot more money to spend as I really felt like painting the inside of the house. HAHA! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Yes, that does look better than before. I thought the other one was charming even if it was kind of old and beaten down, but this stain really does a lot for it. Good job. : )

Yes....I also have to paint inside and want to do the whole upstairs...my son is going to help me tear out the carpet in my bedroom..the spare room only needs paint but my craft room needs some plaster repair....I'd like it all done by winter. A few years ago I was going to put in new kitchen floor....turned into a new stool in the bathroom and flooring along with a new medicine chest....new counter top and stove in the kitchen beside the new flooring....always bigger then I think!

We want wood floors but have to wait as dad can fall a lot easier on them as opposed to carpeting. I also need to paint the interipor and trim of the house and garage. Been putting that off for 5 plus years now. HAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Well, I guess it was kind of fun. A lot of work though. Total time in pressure washing, staining etc was about 10 hours. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~
