zucchini absolutly love the rain and heat! It's growing nicely! I bet your pondering how to eat it already! Is this your first one? I've got one that's probably about 6in long and a couple lil ones that have just started growing. Though we are not looking at getting much rain this week. We got quite a bit last week, we always have pretty wet Junes.

All but my strawberries loved the rain.
There were a lot of soggy and molds berries from too much rain though.
Nahhhh! I've got a lot of zukes growing. This yellow one is about 6 inches.
I have a green one that's about 8 or so inches long already.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I'm glad you have a nice yield comming to you! I wish hubby would of let me have more than one plant. Especially since I've noticed doing hand pollinating that the male flowers aren't always open the same day that the female is.
Either way I'm sorry about your moldy berries. I hope you have everbearing and still get a nice yield.

The picture of your zuchini is really good. It looks like a perfect specimen.
We did have a big downpour, I think it was Sunday. I remember it woke me up and I went back to sleep hoping the electricity wouldn't go off. And it didn't. But the next morning we were definitely drenched.

hi grandpa bob nope not a drop of rain and its been along time since it did rain here. I am hoping we will not have another dry summer withthose awful wild fires. wild my hind foot, they were arson set. I just hate that as they destroyed so many homes and probably a few lives too as people sunk a lot of money into some of those places; we have had nothing bad except for two minor tremblors here. we get so used to shake rattle and roll that one day we may be sadly shocked.I do hope it never happens here where I am at though, this is an old building and I doubt it wou ld hold up under anything really major earthquakes.
