Eating eggs everyday. Good or Bad?

I'm just wondering if I can eat eggs everyday. My mother always tell me not to eat eggs everyday because it is bad to my health. But according to some comments in the web, we can eat eggs everyday because it is rich with nutrients that we need everyday. What do you think? Is it good or bad? Err... I love eating eggs! I hope I'll get a positive results from you guys :)

Eggs are known to be a good source of proteins and some essential nutrients. Although some people would say that eating eggs everyday will increase the risks of getting heart problems because it is rich in bad cholesterol but studies says eating eggs everyday does not increase levels of "bad" cholesterol in the blood infact cholesterol is essential for life. It helps to regulate our hormones, helps us utilize some vitamins and helps us in digesting foods. Eggs are know to be good for the eyes, it helps prevent or lower the risks of developing cataracts because of lutein and zeaxanthin in eggs. Also one of the benefits of eating eggs everyday is it helps blood clots, strokes, and heart attack. These are some of the reasons why you should eat eggs everyday. I hope this help.

I don't eat eggs every day but my cousin use to eat eggs every day.My mom always scold me if she find I m eating eggs regularly.But I think eating eggs regularly has nothing wrong in it...

Hi zel2zel, I don't bother much about whether it's good or bad for us to consume egg. I wouldn't stop to take egg as usual even if it's considered to be bad to our health. Eating one or two eggs in every other days doesn't bring great harm to health I suppose. I enjoy eating recipes prepared from eggs as most of them are yummy respectively. I love even the simple half boiled egg as well as the fried egg I like eating both the egg white and yolk. Unlike my husband and son they prefer to eat the egg white to the yolk. I find the egg is not that yummy if without any of them. I believe eating whatever, including egg excessively is bad to our health. Therefore take a few eggs weekly surely wouldn't damage the health of our body I believe Take care and happy posting

Actually there are lots of foods that contain the ingredients of egg. Majority of the desserts we eat daily need egg to prepare, like cake, cookies, etc. but I couldn't get the real and fragrant taste of egg eating them. I like to taste the fresh and real savor, eating the plain boiled or fried egg, or mashed egg together with cheese in between the egg sandwiches. I like the aromatic boiled eggs prepared and soaked in the chinese herbal soup. We could get the nice and unique smell of it from near distance. Hello, I was told that the egg contains a good amount of cholesterol, and that it was bad to eat every day, but like egg breakfast every day, a rare day that does not, and I do not hurt me imagine that agreed with the food and exercise swings.

I used to eat eggs before, but not now iv'e already removed the eggs in my diet not because of health reason but because of a certain problem with my skin. According to my doctor i can't eat the following foods anymore due to the allergies: egg,shrimps,dried fish,chocolate,prawn,crabs,chicken and eggplant, it's so sad for me not to eat those kind of foods even these are just my favorites.

ahm we should not eat eggs everyday because it is reach in cholesterol, though it is a natural steroid but you can't still have them everyday, thrice a day would do but of course balance diet is the most important thing. .also exercise.=]

I know that eggs are high in protein, which is something we often don't get enough of. However, the yolk also contains a lot of cholesterol, so it is probably best not to eat eggs every day. I'd say limit your eggs to a few a week and try to get your protein from other sources.

I think it depends how you cook them, if you eat them fried every day then it's not good for you but if you boil poach or scramble them it's not so bad. I love eggs too and like to eat them often I just try not to fry them all the time, though a fried egg sandwidch is one of my favourite snacks.

I've read somewhere before but I couldn't remember exactly so I wouldn't say that the information is really correct. Anyway, from what I have read it was mentioned there that there is nothing wrong to eat eggs everyday. But there should be a limit of 1-2 eggs per day. The yolk as we perceived as high in cholesterol is also very good for the body. It has a lot of nutrients and the cholesterol present there is good cholesterol. Maybe if I'll have enough time later I'll verify it but so far those are the things which I can remember from an article that I have read before.

well, anything that's too much is bad for you, right? my mom says the same thing too when i was in that phase where the only things i like eating are sunny side up eggs. it's something bout the cholesterol, i think.

I like to eat an egg.No doubt if I were asked to eat an egg everyday,should not be a problem for me. I eat any type of egg from normal chicken egg, quail (small egg),century egg & salted duck egg. I love them all. For century egg and salted duck egg are the best to cook with porridge,suitable for breakfast,lunch and dinner too. I cook for my family at least once a week. For normal chicken egg, I like it to be cooked in steaming,boiling and frying. Too bad my son does not like to eat an egg. He just don't like the egg smell. From my point of view, egg is good for health. Especially kampung egg,it is advisable to eat every morning in half boiled condition.

It is absolutely not good to eat eggs everyday, it has tons of cholesterol. Yeah it is indeed nutritious but it is not advisable to eat it regularly due to cholesterol content that will eventually clog on to your arteries, correct me if I'm wrong. I love eating eggs before but after my father was diagnosed of having a heart blockage I started not eating it since my father was advised to avoid such food.

i loves to eat eggs. i have it in my meals everyday. i don't care whether it is good for my health or not. i just love it.i love to eat scrambled eggs, half or full-boiled and the fried one.that's what i think and have a nice meals!voila!

I would not say eatings eggs every day is bad or will have any bad long term affects on your life. The worst part of the egg in the yolk, so if you just take that out and have egg whites then its sure to be good for you. The whites contain many nutrients and are good to eat if you're looking to build some muscle.

It depends on whether you have high cholesterol or are at risk for clogger arteries which can cause a heart attack. If you're concerned about your health you can eat only the egg whites, which contain no cholesterol.

I think its not very good. My mom always told me its not good so I always have that in mind that its not good. I have bought for a month already and good thing my husband doesnt complain about it. He likes eggs and I restrict him from eating one. lol

it is good and bad also.......i also eat eggs everyday...i eat 5 eggs everyday for now...i will increase number of eggs gradually...but i eat only white portion of boiled egg...i dont eat the yellow colored area.....white area contains protein which leads to nutrition and muscles and the yellow one contains carbohydrates which leads to obesity and cholesterol in our heart ....thats very risky....so dont eat yellow bulk....it causes problems....eat white portion only...eat boiled white portion if you really want nutrition......hope this will help happy mylotting
