i havent applied for any part time job but i dont think there is a difference with the attire... before i apply i research things i need to do online for be to get prepared... and one info i remember about an attire is that it actually depends on the field of work.. its best to dress formal attire.. but its also good to do research of the company where you are applying.. maybe you can visit the company and observe the people.. you will know there dress code..

Business attire is a must. No matter what kind of job your applying for, whether its a part time job or a full time job you have to make an impression starting with your attire. You can wear a tie for the interview if you are a male of course. If you are a woman then wear something a blouse with collar, 3/4 is always formal.

well, whether you are applying for part time or full time, you should wear formal suit. A set of blazer, a tie, a long-sleeved shirt, pants. It will enhance your credibility as professional.

It depends a lot on what kind of job you are applying for. I've always heard that for an interview, you should dress one step above whatever you will be expected to wear if you get the job. Like if you would be wearing jeans a tshirts in the job, wear jeans and a dress shirt to the interview. If you will be expected to wear khakis and a dress shirt, wear something more formal.
