President Noynoy's Inauguration

What can you say about President Noynoy's inauguration? His speech? The ceremony in the Quirino Grandstand, as a whole? And the ceremonial rites in the Malacanang Palace? I think it really went well. No hassles for everybody. The function was delivered to the people in a very nice way. His speech, in Tagalog, was, I think, very brief and to the point. I just pray his whole 6 years in power will be in harmony too with the rest of the Filipino people. God bless the Philippines.

It seems that everything went well including the weather, it's not too hot and it did not rain heavily. I just hope that these will happen also during the six-year period of President Noynoy in the position. But as usual, let us expect already the negative comments of the oppositions. More power to Noynoy and to the Filipino people!

Did you vote for him? I did not vote at all because I am rooting for Gordon. In all of the presidentiables, I think Gordon has the most experience political-wise. I did not bother to vote because I know he won't win. In this country where bandwagons are progressively a way of life, I know Noynoy would definitely win. Between the rest of the presidentiables (without Gordon), I prefer Noynoy. Yes, he don't really have that experience but who has? Aside from Erap, all of them are new to that position. It is better to have a fresh start from all of that Arroyo administration. New face. Fresh outlook.

I did not use my right to vote last election. I am not even pro-Noynoy or any other presidentiables then. Because I believed that however strategies they made, still the choice of many people will prevail. Apparently, it is Noynoy. This is really a fresh start for Noynoy, for Filipiios and our country, and we should start within ourselves.

It was really overwhelming to see that the person I am rooting for was the one who have oath taken at the Quirino Grandstand. It was my first time to watch an Inauguration of the President and I really waited for it and followed. I even requested my Dad to put the cable downstairs so that we can watch it on our flat screen wide TV. I was really convinced of Noynoy's speech especially the "There can be no reconciliation without justice" which is that is the real situation happening not only in the government but to every people. I am optimistic enough to the changes under the new administration.

We'll see in the next six years if President Noynoy will put up changes in the country.

The inauguration of President Noynoy went really well. Everything was great and I was more proud that President Noynoy went to Quirino grandstand ahead of schedule. let us all hope that everything will also do fine during his administration.

it was the first that I watched an inauguration in the Philippines. It went very well. I just didn't like some of the performances. I liked Noel Cabangon's performance. President Noynoy's speech may be breif but it was meaningful.

I think Noynoy did the right thing, to speak in Tagalog. Anyways, it is the Filipino people whom he owes his win. It is the Filipino people whom he will serve for the next six years. Those foreign dignitaries should have their interpreters at their disposal or they should learn our language. Either way they should have not attended the inauguration at all. Lets start anew. Lets support Philippines in any way possible. Filipinos are for the Philippines and vice versa.
