Roger's reign in Wimbledon is over. He just lost from a 4 set match from Berdych. The king of Wimbledon lost and there will be no Roger/Rafa in the finals. Would be this another sign of Roger's sluggish year? US open is not that far either and would he be able to recover and get back in the US open to add another silverware in his legacy? That, we have to see yet.

For now I don't see anyone beating Rafa for his 2nd Wimbledon title although Andy has a good change on Friday but not quite fully convinced that he will. Let's just see what happens but I'm still seeing Rafa holding that Wimbledon trophy again.

Hi Sirrob, I haven't really been watching much Wimbleon this year but he is another year older and seems slower this year I guess, the weather here thoughg today has been very humidso perhaps that has made a difference. Huggles. Ellie :D

It might be but I guess it's his form that really affects him than just the weather itself. You see, he hasn't won any single title since winning the Aussie Open last January. To add to that, he haven't played so many games as Rafa is yet he failed. You might be right with his aging body.

Yes, I agree with you that this year he seems to be off his usual mark. It is a big big win for Berdych who seems to be enjoying some good form. After reaching the semis at the French, here he has taken out the big fish. Cheers! Ram

Feds never was the same since winning the Aussie Open. He never won a single silverware since then. Being beaten by players previously haven't beaten him is really evident most of the time.
