I have a song that is really memorable for me. that song is a song from my own heart. it is my composition. here is the lyrics: "one wish" stay like you'll never gonna leave me like you'll never say goodbye, ever again stay like you'll be here with me forever i don't want you to go away and take my heart refrain: to prove the functionality of this thing that is killing me you should grant me this one wish chorus: please stay forever, be here with me because all i know is that i love you my heart sings with me\ i don't know why this is happening i can't explain a thing but i know this is a blessing, a treasure and forever will be stay like i'll never be alone, never in my life because you're with me stay like you'll be mine forever and i will be yours until the end of time (repeat refrain then chorus) this was initially a poem. i just accidentally got the inspiration to put sme melodies in this using the guitar.

"Why?" How does one answer that question, why I like one piece of art over another? I like paintings by Jackson Pollack, others see them as random drips and splashes. And I will never understand why some love that new "music" stuff, the kind that uses vile and vicious labels for other human beings, and like it so much they subject everyone on the light rail car their love of the "art." And even make their own. And then there is the issue of our tastes changing over time. Like when I loved Scooby Doo as a child, I can't stand the episodes now. I stopped myself from buying a season of The Partridge Family for the same reason. Loved the TV shows as a child, but I suspected, like Scooby Doo, I would be disappointed as an adult. So when it comes to music, I can tell you the top three groups of music that I like, but I have no way of knowing or answering, "Why?" The first are the songs on the 1968 musical "Oliver!" Secondly, all the songs on all the albums of Yes up until after the Relayer album, except for the Tomato album where one song, "Future Times," had the same flavor of their earlier works. Finally, the New Wave sound during the 80s, like Duran Duran, Tears for Fears, a few from Billy Idol, etc. And of course there are notable works outside these designations, like the Mamas and Papas' "Monday, Monday." Peter, Paul, and Mary's "Leaving on a Jet Plane." Why? Because I do, and can.

The most memorable song I have heard is "Brave" by Idina Menzel. It is a truly inspiring song. The music video is amazing. It really spoke to me. "If this is the moment, I stand here on my own. If this is my right of passage that somehow leads me home, I might be afraid, but it's my turn to be brave." When I watched the video on YouTube, I looked through some of the comments. That one song inspired so many people. One girl was Brave enough to get out of an emotionally abusive relationship. A man who had been fired for being gay was Brave enough to just keep living. It is truly amazing what one song can do for a person.

There are so many songs that have made an impact in my life. One of my favorite is Angel by Sarah McLachlan. I'm not sure if that's the title but it is from the soundtrack of City of Angels
