In economic down time, and especially people in desperate need of saving money or pursuing ways to make extra money, con artists; scamsters are rising up to make our situations worst. There were numerous warnings against them. I once scammed before once. It was 11 years ago or longer, while I was still in school. Some guy suddenly called my home phone claiming that I won a $500 worth of coupon books from a radio station. Without further thinking, I thought that is a real deal. The catch is that I have to pay him $50 for him to catch a taxi over here to deliver it. I did, and I paid him. This coupon book turns out to be nothing, and worthless after I try to use on the restaurant and stores. A lesson learned, and never trust those anonymous phone calls.
