When security is not the issue

if you are setting up a peer-to-peer network where security isn't an issue and all users on the network are known to each other (and trust each other), you can choose not o assign a password to your shares- folders or drivers set up for sharing on the network- or assign the same password to all of them. This takes some of the incovience out of sharing seperate resources wi open for use by anyone physically attached to the network.
