Have you ever experience a real twister in your city and how was it ?

I turned on my TV tonight and try to watch a movie.What is on? " Twister" wow...what a great movie .This is not my first time to watch this movie anyway but still ,the wind is just so powerful and destroying everything it passed by.I wonder why there are still many people want to be a wind chaser and ingore the dangerous situation of this powerful wind.Perhaps,there are some people who are just getting bore in life and want something more excited.Although it is life threatening but people just love to take the risk and see it .Well,I have never experience a real twister myself and I really don't want to experience it .I think watching TV is excited enough.But if you have seen a real one ,share with us.

Thankfully I've never experienced a twister first hand. However, this doesn't mean that there has never been one that has hit near where we live. It was in 2004 when my daughter was still very young that there was a massive line of storms that went through our area. There were tornado warnings out and our family hankered down in the basement. The tornado ended up going north of our home, but in another neighborhood there was an entire road that was completely devastated. The damage was absolutely unbelievable to me.
