well, I am an avid reader once, but these days, all my choice is limited to a very few authors.. PAULO COELHO.. for sure, and all other books are related with para normal, psychology, and medicine.. mostly traditional variations of different practices of medicine.
so, I did not have the chance to give a go at the books that you have mentioned.
but, could not resist from reminding you of PAULO COELHO.. please read him!~

Paulo Coelho is a Brazilian .. I presume, and he has become famous with his book... The ALCHEMIST. other than that book, he has written a few more.
I like Paulo, because, he has merged the orthodox customs of the world with modern style of living. He says, he could attain SAMADHI -- or Ecstasy through ARCHERY.
He also writes regularly on RELIGION and SPIRITUALITY.
