When I feel a little sad what cheers me up is reading a lot of stuff at the same time, learn something cause makes me feel my mind is expanding. I also like to listen to new musics with my mp3 player and dance, and of course, to play with my pets. What do you do, whats your secret to get out from that bad state of sadness?

When I am feeling really sad I like to sing. That makes me feel a little better =) I also like to spend time with the people that cheer me up, my kids and my husband... Sometimes getting out of the house and going for a walk also makes me feel a little better. =)

I guess I love to escape into some good music or perhaps read a good book when I am feeling down. I recently bought an ipod touch, I know they have been around for quite a while now but this has definitely improved my mood and I can play my favorite songs to my heart's content! I also love learning and computers are my thing I guess! When you are achieving something you definitely feel good about yourself inside. Not having a pet is something I lack and this gets me down! I would love to have a dog of my own and I'm heard that having a pet can act as a kind of therapy and this keeps you calm and happy inside. The very action of petting and stroking your dog, this is definitely a great stress reliever. Sadly due to lack of funds I won't be having a dog of my own anytime soon! There are other things I like to do which also improve my mood and that is the act of meditation and regular exercise like daily cycling! I meditate for an hour each morning and I listen to a particular meditation cd and it calms my mind and I forget about everything for that hour! The weather has been great and so my cycling has been very productive. Overall I'm content as a person and I guess everyone needs to decide what works for them and stick to the game plan as it were. When I am negative,I will try to find the reason, the problem and then find the way to solve it.If I cannot solve it,I will leave the trouble and let it go away from my mind.In a word,I change my mood by introspection. All negative moods occur from wrong notions.Find the wrong notions inside and get rid of them.Repalce negative ideas by positive ones. That is the way I go.

That's a good tip, if can't be solved just put it aside. I've done that once or twice and days later the solution would come up. Maybe it has something to do with Eistein only having the best ideas when he was relaxing. With some peace the mind seems to work better.

I put on a gospel cd perferable my favourite and sing out loud in worship to God. I find a nice love song (not those of this year but he 80s 90s) and sing along. I find a quiet spot in the house and cry before God about what ever is bothering me. i call the man that I love and tell him how much I love him and he in turn with words of love makes me feel better. He makes me laugh a lot. I hug my daughter and give a very big kiss while squeezing her gently and telling her how much I love her. I get onthe computer,Mylot and Fabox, tagged, facebook, anyoen of thses sites and write or "talk" to my heart's content. I search the bible for scriptures that speak to the mod I am in and I normally get out that funk

Hi, katie0. I like to watch comedy shows and movies. It takes my mind off of things. I also love to read an book that I can get lost in. And I love writing, and typing. My bad thoughts are erased when I am doing these activities.

I listen to music or do something else that I enjoy, but sometimes that dosent work and I have no choice but to try and not to think about whatever's making me unhappy because nothing else works I just mean that sometimes I just have to let the feeling pass by itself.

my thought would be to have someone towake up next me to where i would feel completely loved and not reaching out where I wouldn't need to. also, a cafiene kick usually does the trick atleast for a few hours anyways. i notice a difference in the mood with me when i have one verses when I don't have one. funny huh. it's like a ciggerate but it's caffiene.

i have what's called a happy playlist in my ipod. it's a list of songs that cheers me up when it feels like the blues are after me and these songs are very danceable and exercising is supposed to release happy hormones so it's like killing two birds with one stone. i also try to watch a lot of comedy just so i could forget about the things bothering, even just momentarily.

One thing I do which is a little weird I guess is I pull out my copy of the book The Secret. I don't know if I believe everything I read in the book as far as mind over matter, but it is a very motivating, uplifting book regardless and always helps me reset my mind, kind of like meditation in a way. The other thing I do is take my dog for a walk, something about being out in nature, always helps me to refocus on what is really important in the long run of life.
