Ok, I know you must be getting tired with my de-cluttering questions but I have to ask this one as well. I have loads of trophies from competition ten pin bowling & so does my mom...my mom passed away so I have her trophies as well...I used to display them but I haven't had the room to do so in the past few years so they are sitting in boxes in the shed until I have room for them (probably in another house)...what do you do with your trophies?

I have all of my old football ones from childhood in a box. I have no idea why I keep them. Some of them are broken now after many moves and I now have trophies from my adult sporting achievements which mean more to me. These are still out on a shelf as they are recent and still coming in hopefully!

I just wish I had the room to show off my trophies but this house is tiny...maybe I will just have to keep them in the boxes they are in....they haven't been unpacked in years so I wouldn't know if any are broken or not.

Speaking of bowling, I have one trophy and that's what it was for! But, it wasn't a good one. I bowled on a league when I was 17, mostly because my best friend bowled, and I was terrible at it. I weighed about 90 pounds and the ball was so heavy that I could barely throw it. At the end of the season I got a trophy for being the worst bowler in the league. It was pretty cute...a little guy with a bowling ball stuck on his toe. I was so proud...lol!

I've got one similar - I was bowling in leagues from the time I was 11...my team came last 1 year so our trophy was a turkey!

Hi moonchild1au, I do have lot of old trophies of different designs and sizes. The majority of them are stuffs which I had won during my school as well as college days. A few are prizes won from sports tournament whereas some are awarded wining academic contests. I felt really glad and proud seeing them displayed in the showcase decently
After having family, I don't have extra time to take care of them to do the regular cleaning. I spend most of my time busy with my kid, house chore as well as the office work. For the sake of convenience I then kept all the trophies in boxes. I would like to have a look on them once in a while. At sight the trophy would recall the scene how I won that trophy then

I had few trophies which i won in Chess and Cricket tournaments...and they're in bad condition now...they turned black coz of the moisture and two of them are already broken...so i moved them to the store room.i make sure that i take care of the certificates which were offered on winning those games.I never wanted to showcase them in the front room though.great day.

I showed them off when I lived with my parents but haven't done it since.
