For me it's the highways and the trains throughout Metro Manila. Transportation is important in our economy so that every business could run well. It also helps me to come in and out of the province to manila. Plus the trains are promising. :)

I agree too. This is my answer to the question. She did a lot for transportation. She fixed NLEx and SLEx, made the SCTEX, made the nautical highways, added a new LRT line (LRT2 purple line) reinvented the PNR. Transportation now is really easier. In a way, she helped reduce traffic on our roads and gave cheaper transportation alternatives, which is really great. Holidays and getaways are not restricted to batangas and laguna for the metro dwellers. Vacation places that were on other islands became more accessible, and I believe that the reason why aviation companies now offer cheap seats on their planes because the ROROs are taking a toll on their sales, which again, creates cheaper transportation. (You gotta love Cebu Pacific's piso seat sales!). Places where only the rich could afford are now affordable for the middle class.

Yeah right! I agree with that. She have done many things regarding transportation specially the nautical highways. Me, as personal experience, i regularly go to the mindoro and aklan, before, i used to take the plane or the one day trip of shipping. That's haggard because you need first to book your flight or schedule to be able to ride and its too much expensive. But now, we had the Roll-On Roll-Off (Ro-Ro) and its to convenient and can travel anytime you want because there are lot of buses and ships you can ride. Now, its not hard for me to go anywhere in the Philippines anytime.

Wow, it's as if we owe her gratitude for these things that OUR money paid for. Unless you are a bum who does not pay taxes, you'd know that these things that she's done are what people expect her to do. The people expect the president to govern them truthfully and rightfully, infrastructure and economy are just faces of the things expected of a president's agenda. She did SOME of what she's expected to do.. that I can give her.

We're not thanking her for it. We're just pointing out things that she did that we are benefiting from. Yes it's our money, but us tax payers don't have the ability to turn that money into brides and highways do we?

gma did things that we pinoys cannot tolerate... but there is another side of her... she did good with regards with infrastructure and giving jobs,.. i even heard that she is indeed a workaholic... i know that is her job and she needs to do i right... we only see what she've done wrong... just like knicnax said... "we're just pointing out things she did that we are benefiting from.."

well, I am not really into politics but I guess she is better than the others who sat before her. She made the NLEX better and call center of course. For her love of her hometown, Pampanga, she made sure it progresses from highways, buildings, job opportunities and in tourism department.

Well, I am originally from Pampanga, and I completely agree that she did a lot for the province. It's very progressive now, that people in Manila actually consider Pampanga to be urban and no longer a province.

She was in the position for the whole 9 years. I believe the first year was great but the next 6 years was all for paying debt to the people who helped her stay in power. Thats when it all started to go haywire. FYI: Call Center Companies are already investing in the Philippines even before Gloria took power. Sykes was started in 1997 in our country, and Advance Solution Contact started in 1998. Those are the two that I know of. Anyway, to answer the topic, maybe the LRT expansion is the greatest project she.. oh wait.. that was Erap's project that she just continued. I cant think of any
