There's a lot of gays around and they have been given equal rights same as with straight people. Do you think this encourages homosexuality?

no, I don't think it encourages people to be homosexual. As it still carries a huge negative in our societies veiw on the subject and doesn't stop people who are identified as Homosexual from being beaten up or killed because of there preference for a partner of the same gender. All that the rights do is make it easier for people to come out of the closet and say here I am and I am a homosexual. I am equal to you in the rights I have we are equals see I am NOT different than you. I just like different people than you I am not here to hurt you in anyway just accept me for who I am please that is all I want really thats it.

Personally I do not think that it encourages it but rather it allows it to emerge from the closet. I think that if it were not for the equal rights it would be hidden behind closed doors as it was in the past. I have no problem with the Homosexual movement as I am convinced that it is about time. Homosexuality is not something for me but a person should be free to be who or what they are as long as it is adult and consenting. People have so many problems with two men being together but if those men were cat calling teen aged girls, there would be no problem as they would be studs trying to get some. That is some messed up logic. I say live and let live, if they are gay, so be it, you do not have to participate! I hope this has helped a little bit. Have a great day and a better tomorrow!!
