Underarm body odor is one of the main concern in terms of hygiene.Lucky few who naturally don't have the BO,but mostly we discover we are bad smelling especially when perspiration sets in.Solution for this is using deodorant or antiperspirant, but which is better for you?

Hi, meeksilent. I have to use both of them. If I don't, I will sweat very badly and I will start to have an odor. I used an deodorant that was like this when I was a teenager. It did not have an antiperspirant and I ended up sweating very badly. I won't do this again. I need to have them both on my deodorant for extra protection.

Well there are debates that the chemicals in anti-perspirants can cause cancer but it hasent been proved scientifically yet its just theoried. I have to use anti-perspirant/deodorants or I will stink and sweat. An anti-perspirant is to help prevent you from swetting and deodorants cover the smell if you do sweat. I would assume that deodorant contains less chemicals then anti-perspirants so they are probably better for your health but to me are not as effective and a waste of money.

I think antiperspirant is to help stop extra beads of fluid, where deodorant is to cover the smell? So i would prefer an antiperspirant.
