British myLotters will recognise my title as a parody of British TV comedian Harry Hill on his show TV Burp!
However this is actually what happened and the answer is neither as both ended up dead!!
unusual clash between a 6-foot (1.8m) alligator and a 13-foot (3.9m) python has left two of the deadliest predators dead in Florida's swamps.
In the Florida swamps a 13foot Burmese python tried to swallow a 6 foot alligator whole, but when it did it exploded !!
The remains of the two reptiles were found by rangers in the Everglades National Park.
The python's head was missing and the tail of the alligator was sticking out of its side!!
Pretty gruesome eh!

oh. quite surprising .. and, yes. pretty gruesome.
Indian mythology has a peculiar story involving the alligator.
is there a difference between an alligator, and a crocodile? ....
------ There is an ELEPHANT King, with all his consorts.. who wanted to make merry in a big pond. And, there in the pond is the KINGS of crocodiles, with all its female-stock.. trying to bring them a meal, by pulling down the ELEPHANT. A big fight ensues, and ...
we all are left with a wonderful saga .. called "Gajendra Moksham" .. Salvation to Elephant. ..

Wow that must have been one h*ll of a fight, I haven't heard of any other stories like this, you would have thought the python would have choose something a little easier to digest for his breakfast eh! The head to explodeand the alligator sticking out of him, not a pleasnt picture at all. Huggles. Ellie :D
