Why do you think Edward won all girl's heart?

Robert Pattinson it's clearly a different person from Edward Cullen. He said in an interview that when he asked what the audition was about they said to he to play a perfect guy, so he did it. Maybe the most perfect guy on the movies.
But why do you think Edward Cullen owned all girls heart?
For me it's mostly because he pays attention on Bella all the time, I just adore men like that and he does this a lot.

It disgusts me to see Robert Patinson as Edward. He totally admits to gagging in the theaters when seeing the movie in person. I mean who the heck does that. You can tell from his performance that he hates romance, and all things mushy. I mean most guys do but at least that can do a halfway decent job of portraying it. I think emmit is so much hotter but again I don't think any of them are really awesome actors lol.

Well I'm not one of those insane-psycho fans who'd tattoo his face on my back, or run around screaming that I love Edward... but I do like the character. The thing I like about him is that he's chivalrous and he has a true moral compass and respect for Bella. I LOVE chivalry. Guys getting chairs and doors for girls... that makes my heart beat just a little faster! (Except I only find it at the renaissance faire these days.)

I agree the story is so much better than the movies, the movies are kind of a joke in my opinion. i would like a guy to be like that for me, and that is perhaps why I continued to read through the series...

I like the movies, but I like the books more. 
The thing that kept me reading and loving the series was how much I enjoyed the story and cared about the character. It didn't really make me long for a guy like Edward (I already wanted a chivalrous man, no fictional incarnation brought THAT about. lol) but I admire Edward as a character.

allyoftherain me too! I actually only date the old fashion guys, if a guy waits for me to pay or is not a gentleman, it was goodbye to him. Now I found the right one, but I was very picky. These I believe are men, not a gentleman are not men, they are boys. [:-)]

Well, we was able to win Bella's heart and mine too.lol. I think the reason behind that it's because how his character was portrayed in the movie. He might be as cold as ice but his heart was burning with love and passion for the woman he loves. He's not into arguments and bragging around but he stays cool and simple in any situation. I really love him.

I love him too, specially the one in the books.
Wow, he is so cool all the time, that's one of the best things in him indeed. And he carry so much for her! It's amazing, like the type of guy anyone dream of having for sure, or Legolas from lotr, lol, oh wait, that's mine!
I think he carry so much about her because of this burning love you say indeed.
