Well, i've met a lot of nice friends online, both men and women. I've became so close with one woman that she's my god sister now and we try to meet up occasionally to catch up. Besides that, i met my bf online as well. we started out getting to know each other through msn messenger. He's the best guy ever!

I met my fiance through internet.It all depends I think.Some people says it worked/works and some peopls says it didn't/doesn't.My friends said they were going to meet but the day before they meet this girl didn't give him a call.He told me that she said she will call to make sure the date and she never called or talked to him from that day.He later found out from other chatters who said she is late 40's(the profile says she's 22)and just playing a game...
I and my fiance are doing great:)

About your friend. I was a cafe manager before and I see many ways for a women to con foreigners. Tell your friend to be careful next time and tell him not to trust what he sees on his webcam.

Love can happen anywhere. The internet, by email, by a chat line. I have several friends I would trust more than my own brother. But I think net romance is possible!
