what is internet and what is intranet...

internet is what we are using to for mylotting and intranet is the network establised around an area,taking for example within the college campus to allow sharing of resources within the college premises..........Hope you understood

internet is for public and intranet is for private. anyone can access the internet but only selected people can access the intranet.

The internet is world wide. Whereas the intranet works in a company/area only. It can't connect to anywhere in the world. I love China

I think the only difference is that intranet is for internal use while internet is for public/external use. Most businesses use intranet for their employees to become efficient in their respective jobs.
