What do you do when eating is...

the only pleasure you have in life? Like me...? I'm over weight and, of course, hate it! Hope to get some help here (psychological help, since I know how to lose weight, I just can't do it because it's too hard for me)

I have had times in my life when it seems like food was the only thing I had control over and it was like you say, the only thing that made me happy. Truth be told it did not really make me happy. It was nice to have something that I had control over, but it did not truly make me happy. I have been overweight most of my life. I currently weigh more than I have ever weighed before in my life. I love food. I have lost about 13 pounds in the past month and really the only thing I have consciously changed is getting a job. I have less time to think about food when I am working and so I eat less.

In order for you to reduce consumption of foods is try to eat less or just intake fruits and vegetables as subtitutes to fatty food and other carbohydrates food.

I know how you feel. I'm also overweight, but recently I've been trying to do something about it because I'm a diabetic. I know it's hard, but it's even harder being sick all the time. My Daughter has started the 60 day insanity challenge http://linkb.com/nick60daychalng and is blogging about it. Maybe, you can find something similar and start a blog. Some people find it helps if they have something like that to help keep them accountable. I hope that helps xoxo Cyne
