The double nature of our gouvernment or is it?

Yesterday one of my coworkers and me was taking a smoking break. We did discuss how our gouvernment are haunting the smokers. The latest news is that we are not even alouwed to smoke outside the restuarant anymore. This is not yet aplied, however it sure will be in short time. Now, I for sure soon would like to say...I have smoked my last cigaret however the last one is the hardest to put down. And I feel that, if the gouvernment really want us to stop smoking for any reason mentioned, then, make it not legal to sell the tobaco in the first place instead of putting new rules all the time and stop haunting us. But,of course they would not as they would loose a lot of tax money from us if we did not continue to smoke and buy them. Rase the prizes will only reduce the legal buying and people return to buy them on the black market. What is your opinion? Do you feel our gouvernment is a double nature haunting the smokers with this or that rules of when, where or how we should smoke?
