Actually this format is killing the 50 overs ODI in my view. Test matches became more result oriented because of T20 and 50 overs ODI's. In the past batsmen use to wait for the bad balls to score runs, now batsmen are ready to through bat on good balls as well in test matches. In fact test matches are now become interesting but 50 overs format has become boring for me and I feel that T20 might kill 50 overs format. But ICC is organising T20 format in controlled manner but in countries like USA,etc only T20 formats will be successful compared to other formats. Let us see what will future cricket will become the standard of pitches are more helpful for batsmen then the bowlers because of this T20 format.

Real talent is needed for playing test. Countries like USA are never able to play that.

Sure T20 cricket is really killing the real cricket skills. The real cricket is the test cricket. Only the most talented players can play the test. We should encourage that. We should be proud that this is the longest game in the world.

I enjoy T20, but can appreciate that it is taking the limelight away from Test cricket. On the other hand, it is also making the sport more popular.
