How do I avoid afternoon sleep?

I was worked in a concern. i had a accident so now i'm in home and getting so boar. So i have an opportunity for an afternoon nap.I want too..but many of the people its not good for health. i'm confused about nap. Afternoon is is good or bad. if bad how do i avoid?

I have never come accrosss anything that suggests an afternoon is bad for you. My husband is often tired and has a nap in the afternoons when he is home and it does nothing bad for him. He actually went to the doctors about it and the doctor simply said 'if you are tired then sleep'. If you think you are just wanting to nap out of boredom then find something more constructive to do. Spend some time outside or do something that requires a little energy to wake you up again. Personally I would love to have an afternoon nap but having two young children in the house means I never get a moments peace lol.

Keep yourself occupied with things to do.. but those which allow you to sit and do them at leisure, without straining yourself. I think short naps can be alright, but avoid sleeping for long periods of time in the afternoon.
