RA I N Y season - Umbrella or N O T.....

We are now in the rainy season - cannot predict when the rains comes.I daily carry an umbrella to safeguard myself from rain,because I have to walk long distance.
I found some people they are so lazy that they do not carry an umbrella themselves but would expect to share with others.How bad it is....
Share your thoughts please

I am also thinking of buying such small - extremely foldable umbrellas for myself.

Hi. busybee10. If I was able to, I would carry my own umbrella. If I am somewhere and it started to rain without me being prepared for it, I would share an umbrella with someone else. And I would let them use my umbrella too. I like to have my own umbrella. Sometimes two or more people will be hard to fit up under just one umbrella.

That is good to hear that you carry your umbrella and also have the nature of sharing the umbrella. It is good. We have to also cooperate sometimes and help each other.

It is obviously upto an individual to decide whether or not they want to carry an umbrella while walking during rainy season or not. I do prefer to carry an umbrella, yet sometimes I do also forget this.

That is nice to hear from you -
yes as you say it is all individuals interest,but always to be on safe side I personally feel that one should carry an umbrella.
Even myself - if I have to go for shopping then I avoid taking an umbrella.
So after all we are human beings hence this is what happens.

When I was in Sri Lanka as a teacher I used to bring umberela daily. Umberela is a sign for teachers. There can be no teacher in Sri Lanka without umberela. Not only for rain but, also for hot sun. There i used to share. hear in Germany prople don't share umberelas. one is for one.

Good to note a new message from you that - 'Umbrella is a sign for teachers.' in Srilanka.That is really interesting.
Umbrella works for rainy and summer too.
So, in Germany people do not share umbrellas - I feel that is good every one holds the responsibility.

Rainy season or not, I usually carry an umbrella inside my bag. I own a compact one that it can fit any of my bags. I don't really mind those who don't want to carry or bring one. It's their decision. I guess they just have to be responsible enough and not expect other people to share when it pours.

Beautiful - I like your decent thoughts.
This should be one's approach in life.
In one of the response I came to know that an umbrella is desiogned which can even fit into a pocket.

I dun carry umbrella as i lov to njoy rain ..but when u r on ur way to work u shud carry umbrella or raincoat ..but i love to get stuck in rain when i am free..i will count my age as how many rainy seasons i have njoyed..

I do not carry an umbrella and wouldn't bother others to share it with me.i would prefer to get wet and enjoy myself in the rains with a nice ice cream....than to ask a stranger to make some room for me under their tiny winy shelter lol.I would carry a rexine jacket which goes well with rains and my t-shirts as well.great day.

Some are funny as they run and run - lol,but why I do not understand .Are they afraid of rain or run not to drench themselves ( as they already got drenched).

i donot carry any umbrella with me... if i feel it will rain i carry my rain coat instead of umbrella.i will not ask any stranger for space. though i dont deny if any beautiful offers lol !

You are self dependent that should be our motto.
