Do you learn anything online? I am a developer and I do a lot of learning online. Whether they are programming languages or something about newer technologies. But most of the things could be learned online. So do you prefer learning online , what are your preferences.

I love learning things on line. I read new things everyday. It is quick and usually easy to find. I love the knnowledge. I do not like the sites where I think I miight learn something and it turns out to be ...if you pay this you get a list .... I just want the knowledge nnot the dish.. I would take classes on line but dont have the money right now. I am a senior citizen and I still love to learn I never wanted a computer but my kids gave me one 8 years ago and I am hooked.. Also the technical stuff really irritates me

I learn things from the internet all the time. I don't take any actual on-line classes; but, any time I want to know more about something a quick search usually brings me more information than I need. You do need to be careful of on-line sources though. Some are good, some mix fact and fiction, and others are just plain BS!

At this stage in my life, I think that learning online is the best avenue for me. The main reason that I say this is because I can learn when I have time to do it and I am also able to dedicate as much of my time to the children as it is necessary to do. You see, being a mother I think that the most important thing that I can do is to take care of the children first and that means that I generally put my own needs on the back burner.
