I decided to look it up. It's where you punch holes in a card to make patterns. Here's a link, interesting craft and looks simple to do:http://www.cardmakinginspiration.com/demo/demo09.htm

I've heard of the technique, but I haven't tried it because I seldom have time to actually work on cards - something to do with... mylot....
But I found this tutorial...
http://netnet.net/~cloud9/tutorials/tutorial_07.html
it looks really good too
I've made some cards, I actually enjoy doing it, but just don't have time

I'm with everyone else...do you have any pictures we can see? It sounds like a great fun creative way to make cards. How long have you been doing this? And the reason I ask is that I never heard of it.
That's great jugs and you can make a living out of it, really! Sell those cards, lol!

I can't say that I'm really familar with paper pricking techniques, but I can tell you that I love the feeling that I get when I am able to make something from scratch. I've made cards and scrapbook pages and all kinds of other things. I think that the act of working on a craft is the thing that is really relaxing to people. For me, I do my scrapbooking on the computer but the feeling of relief that washes over me while I am placing the items on the page is a great feeling for me.

U are an expert now!! haha =D FInishing it up in less than an hour when most ple will take days to do so!! hehe ^_^
Actually i do like paper pricked cards and the texture are really smooth to touch.. However, the process of making one is not easy, and one must have the patience to do it.. hehe ^_^ I have patience for most things, except for that.. haha

That's great that you're getting attention for it! I do love the look of that craft. I only paper pricking to highlight an embossed image on paper, cards or vellum. I don't typically do paper pricking all by itself. You should post a picture of your work!

I have an idea what paper pricked cards look like and they are very pretty. I have no idea how to do it myself but I am not that crafty (LOL)! You should post a picture of some of your work. Perhaps you could start a little card making business!

I had a friend who used to do that kind of card crafting. It's really pretty, plus it's amazing how intricate you can get. I never tried cards, but I have done basically the same thing on a dark lampshades. With pin-pr*cks, and a few cut lines with an exacto knife, I have flowers, petals and stems. I did one when my kids were little of stars and the moon, which came out cute. Wish I had a camera so I could show you a picture of the floral one, but I'm sure you can find something similar online. Pin-pr*cked designs work for all kinds of other stuff too.
I also made luminaries for the yard table with cans and a nail. (Pencil the design on and freeze water in the can. When froze take a thin nail and lightly hammer punch through the can. A voitive inside illuminates the pr*cked areas.) Fun craft with limitless possibilities!! (Sorry 'bout the *, but myLot wouldn't let me send it through. Pr*k is a word violation of terms lol)

I have never heard of this before either. I have handmade cards using the rubber stamps and such but never got in to it much. I have friends that do a lot of the card making and they really enjoy it. I don't have the patience for it or the flexibility in my fingers to do it.

I saw in internet what you meant but I´d love to see an actual card made by you. What kind of paper do you use? Is it special? Please, we need pictures!
Happy posting!
