joint family and single family

A boy and girl get married. If they stay with his parents is it a joint family?If they stay w ith her parents is it a joint family? If they stay with his siblings and parents is it a joint family? If they stay with her siblings and parents is it a joint family? If they stay with father's/mother's/ parents-inlaw's siblings is it a joint family? As a south Indian humourist pointed out, it is a case of joint family if the married boy and the girl stay together. So what was your meaning?

Surely, BOTH have some good side and bad side. Not all with a family of their own is happy... some or few been miserable. there's a single one that is happy although NOT all. We have to consider of what we call it ' DESTINY ".. let say, we can't control or hold of it.

Hi...I dont know about joint family...Bcos i have been living in a single family since birth. In future also i would prefer living in a single family. In a joint family you need to take care of lots of things. Thre would be things that you like will not be liked by the other people. keeping the intersr=ts in mind of all the people is a big problem.
