Who is the Person You Hate at Your Office?

Do you hate someone on your office? I do. I hate one of my office mates. She really irritates me. Every morning she arrives late. Then she would busy herself applying lotion,plucking her brows, applying make up for about an hour. Then she would start calling her friends through the her cellphone and would spen hours talking to them. Our office starts at 8:30 but she usually starts doing her work by 11AM. She really irritates me. She has been part of the company for 5 years. She still have the same position for the past years.In short she is not improving,but still she gets away with all the things she does. The sad thing is my managers can't do anything about it. She is not royalty or anything but still she manages to get away with her laziness. I just don't like it.
How about you guys? Do you have the same experience?

Best thing to do is keep your mouth shut and do your work. Later on your bosses might not remember she's a bad worker, but hey will remember you complained. It's not fair, but that's how life is.

That's what I always do. Keep my mouth shut and rant about it on a forum or at home. It is really so unfair. Imagine we all spend 9 hours working,while she is busy doing other things. What makes me even irritated are the phone calls. I always answer the phone. But all the calls we are getting are from banks she is applying a loan at. What makes it worst is these banks keeps calling her for the requirements she is supposed to fax to the bank. The whole time these banks are calling,all her requirements are neatly filed beside her desk. She just wont send it. She even act irritated whenever I hand her the phone call. ugh!

i agree with you thecatlady, it's the best thing to do, to keep our mouth shut and manage our own business. as long as she is not hindering our own job, it's ok. and let the boss see her laziness.

I think this lady should not be staying in the office that long. How come your Boss does not even take action and letting her get away with her bad working habit? Well, if I were you, I think I would just rather ignore her. I won't let her get into my nerve for she is not worth it.
In my office, I can't think of anyone I really hate. Sometimes there are attitudes that annoy me but hating anyone in the office in particular has not really happened.

I know I should not hate her that much but I can't help it. She does not function well at work, she is not even efficient at work, but still she gets away with all her laziness. The other day, she told our head that she will be leaving early because she needs to attend to something. She wouldnt even tell our head where she's headed. Guess where she went. She went to a bike store to buy new part for her bike. Imagine that? She had a deadline but she managed to get out of the office because she is going to buy bike parts. The upper management seems to be too busy to notice all her unprofessionalism.

our manager knew it. i know this may sound sneaky but i even took a video of her waching a dvd while at work. my manager relocated her to a new table so he could see her monitor while working.but after a week,she began doing the same things again. i know hate seems to be a harsh word but i often do the job she is supposed to be doing because she is busy with the phone,or chatting,or applying lotion.i so hate it.

I wouldn't say that I hate anyone at my job. I just hate working with all girls because of the drama. The girls our older than me like 30 and up some younger and they act like their in highschool still its rediculous. I just get to the point now where I just do my work and don't even bother talking to anyone, I don't want to deal with it and go home stressed every day. That shouldn't be a place to work at if it's going to cause that much stress in everyone's life. Makes me not want to come to work every day having to deal with that crap. I had to switch offices it got so bad and now I don't have to deal with it much I just hear what goes on from other employees. Trying to find a new job and hoping I won't have to deal with Drama!

the truth is, i hate almost everyone in the office especially those who always have to be followed-up with their works. i hate to run after them to get their works submitted to me as i have to compile all their works monthly.

well i also hate lazy people at work. i have a coworker who has a habit of applying make up before doing work but she is not lazy.
