“Slumdog Millionaire” is not a Bollywood movie, the movie is not a product of the Mumbai film industry; it is the product of director Danny Boyle,“Slumdog Millionaire” were shot in Mumbai(India).

I am an Indian but I haven't seen this movie because of the Slumdog’s depiction of India’s poverty...they have shown only a slum area(Mumbai-Dharavi) of Mumbai state and people who watched this movie considered India as Poor country, but this is not fact.... FYI: India is the seventh-largest country by geographical area. The most populous democracy in the world. The Indian economy is the world's seventh largest economy by nominal GDP and the fourth largest by purchasing power parity. India is a nuclear weapons state and has the third-largest standing army in the world. India is a member state of the United Nation and members of Commonwealth of Nations. Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus are studies, which originated in India. The 'Place Value System' and the 'Decimal System' were developed in India in 100 B.C. The world's first university was established in Takshila(India) in 700 BC. .....etc...

When I was little, it was very common that the TV channels would broadcast Indian or Pakistani movies. But today I hardly see these movies. The Hollywood movies are the main foreign movies for us. I still remember an old Indian movie called Caravan. The characters and nice songs left me a deep impression. I love China
