You know .. if you buy school books at the online book store for college..I take my college online.. It is very costly for the books. I went on Amazon.com and found the same book for 140.00 cheaper. It's an older edition but I bought an older edition several times and the chapter set up and answers are the same. Have you ever bought books on AMazon.com for college? It's even better then Ebay What do you think.

I like buying books via the net, especially from Amazon. Since all the books will have discounts and the delivery charge is free. The delivery is also very fast. It is convenient for me to sit in front of the computer and choose books. Besides, I can read the comments from other readers. It is quite helpful for me to judge whether I should buy the book or not. Amazon's books are quality and it is much more reliable to buy it from other personal e-shops. I love China

I agree that is very convenient to buy books from the internet. Most of my experiences with online shopping have been pleasant. Only once did I not receive the item I paid for.

Yes that is a great way to get your text books. I actually sell a few text books on line as well. Another good way to find text books is to go to an op shop near a colledge area and you will be amazed at how cheap they could be as when students have finished the with them ,they donate them to the local op shops. I have gotten text books for 50 cents from one op shop.

I have used amazon quite alot for toys, electrical items and childrens books as they are quite a good price and most are now free delivery so its easy to order and they don't take long to come either so your not waiting in for days. When i brought a book for my wife when she was at college it didn't cost that much, but i notice whilst we was at the book shop there was a few that did cost quite alot.

I agree.. amazon has lots of great prices; not just for books, but all kinds of things. Another good site is half.com .

If I can get a used copy of my textbook on Amazon, then I will. If not then I'll be stuck with having to go to my school's textbook store which charges monstrous amounts for the books. Usually I get get the books for more than $100 cheaper if I buy them used on Amazon. Most of the time I'm not going to be keeping the books anyway, so I end up selling them to a used books store when I'm done with them.

What is your major in? What school are you attending? I know I try all ways to find my college books ..last resort is the school bookstore which is ungodly high.

I'm going to an arts school and I'm majoring in digital film. I only keep the textbooks that apply to my major. My Math books, Science books, and my English Books all go to the used book store when I'm finished with them. What I hate more than anything is if a teacher requires that you buy a textbook, and then never really uses it for anything.

I Was thinking, like you, it may be good to keep books that I may want to reference back to . Are you taking online studies or going to an actual campus?
